Together, for every premature baby
Join us to end preventable premature birth
60,000 babies are born prematurely every year, leaving them at risk of life-long complications. Sadly, some babies are born too early and too tiny to survive. It doesn't have to be this way.
Did you know that some premature births can be predicted, which means we can potentially prevent them, saving babies’ lives? Join our mission to end preventable premature birth.
Over half of parents wished they’d had more information on the risk of premature birth. That’s why research is at the heart of what we do. Our community of experts and doctors are leading the way in our mission to end preventable premature birth.
But we need your help to continue our work.
The period before, during and after premature birth is an incredibly anxious and uncertain time. For some parents, they can often feel uninformed and left unprepared for the experience.
At Tommy’s we believe every parent deserves answers.
We provide support and resources to parents at every stage of their journey, whether it’s information about the birth itself or guidance around what to expect from treatment and care after babies have been born prematurely.
Your support is changing the lives of premature babies and their families. World Prematurity Day on 17 November is a moment for us to champion the strength and resilience of families – meet some of them below.
