I've signed up - how do I start fundraising?

It couldn't be more simple!

How will my fundraising be spent?

We're aiming to raise an amazing £15,000 through the ING Glasswalk, which could fund all the equipment needed to carry out vital research at our Premature Birth Surveillance Clinic at St Thomas' Hospital, London, for one year. This research is crucial to help us to find the causes and prevention of premature birth for thousands more families and their babies.

"The abdominal stitch that they pioneered is a miracle, one stitch that’s literally changed our lives"

Katherine and Tom were treated for premature birth at Tommy's centre at St Thomas' Hospital after they lost their first baby, Matilda, when she was born at just 24 weeks. Read their story here.

Is a glasswalk safe?

The glasswalk will be run by UK Firewalk, experts with over 12 years experience. Participants will be given a training and briefing session before their opportunity to walk, to ensure the safest possible experience.

UK Firewalk will provide basic first aid and have been trained by St John’s Ambulance.

Can I turn up on the day to take part?

Yes! If you feel you can't commit to fundraising, or if you are a spectator that gains some last minute bravery, you can turn up on the day and pay £30 (payable to Tommy's) to take part. There will be multiple training sessions run throughout the evening.

Will ING match my fundraising?

Yes. Please contact Lynden Riley to arrange your matched giving.
