Miscarriage support

If you’ve experienced a miscarriage, we’re here to help and support you.

Miscarriage can be devastating. You may be struggling with grief, anxiety and shock, as well as mood swings and tiredness as your hormones adjust.

Our information pages are here to answer the questions that many couples ask about miscarriage. We’ve also spoken to thousands of women about their feelings after a miscarriage, and although no-one can tell you how you should or shouldn’t be feeling, it can be reassuring to read about the experiences of others, in these support pages.

Watch other films from The Baby Loss Series.

You can also call our midwives, who are trained in bereavement support, on 0800 0147 800.

Please note, in this section, we use the term ‘miscarriage’ in relation to all pregnancy loss, including ectopic and molar pregnancy.

Your miscarriage stories

Through our #MisCourage campaign, hundreds of women have shared their own stories of miscarriage. You might find it reassuring to read about other women’s experiences.

You can share your story here.

To talk to others who’ve been there, online and in confidence, visit BabyCentre’s miscarriage support group.
