Ride across Britain 2024

The ultimate UK cycle challenge. The full 9-day package covers the entire length from Lands End to John O'Groats. Take on this bucket list event over an unforgettable 9 days, fully supported, with 900 other riders alongside you. 

Now with options to cover the English leg in 6 days. Or the Scottish leg over 3 days.

How to register

Tommy's has a set number of places in Ride Across Britain. 

To register for one of our places click on the button and complete the form. 

You'll be asked to pay a registration fee of £499 for the full classic route, £349 for the England package or £299 for the Scotland package. 

You'll then be asked to set up a fundraising page for Tommy's and raise £2,400 for the full route, £1,400 for the England package or £1,300 for the Scotland package.

The event

The full 9 day, 980-mile stunning iconic ride, covers 23 counties across England, Wales and Scotland, there is no better way to experience the breathtaking scenery, iconic landmarks and historic sites of Britain than by bike. From the rolling hills of Devon and Cornwall to the majestic highlands of Scotland, ride a varied and exciting route, worthy of the UK’s most iconic cycling challenge. 

With a premium level of support, there’s no better way to take on this iconic ride. This is a chance to see the UK like you’ve never seen it before, camping under the stars and sharing lifelong memories.

This will be 980 miles you will never forget, including:

St Michael’s Mount, Cheddar Gorge, The Severn Bridge, Chepstow castle, Shap Fell, the stunning Lake District views, the Grampian Mountains, Cairngorms National Park, Glenshee and the Lecht Ski Hill, John O’Groats and views of the Orkneys. To find out more here

The England Package takes in 6 days of exceptional riding exploring little known back routes through to legendary climbs and descents like Shap in the Lakes, Cheddar Gorge and the stunning scenery of the Westcountry moorland. Find out more

The Scottish leg of the route takes riders through some of the most remote and beautiful parts of the UK. This is for those without enough time to complete the full course this year, but who are looking for rugged mountains, deserted coastlines and some of the quietest roads you will find anywhere.
