Together, for every baby

We are an organisation of caring and committed people who refuse to accept that 1 in 4 pregnancies have to end in loss or premature birth

Our BBC Lifeline Appeal

Watch Tommy’s on BBC One for this month’s BBC Lifeline, hosted by supporters Ben and Marina Fogle.

"More research will make pregnancy safer and healthier for everyone and save babies’ lives. Together, we can make it happen.” - Ben Fogle

What we do

We’re dedicated to finding causes and treatments to save babies’ lives as well as providing trusted information and support.
  • Research icon
Tommy’s is the largest charity carrying out research into pregnancy loss and premature birth in the UK. We research causes and treatments so we can make pregnancy and birth safer for all.
  • PregnancyHub icon
Our pregnancy information service is here to make pregnancy safer. We provide accredited midwife-led pregnancy health information for parents-to-be.
  • Baby loss icon
Sadly, some babies are lost during pregnancy, birth, or shortly afterwards. We are here for anyone who has experienced the loss of a baby, whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, or termination for medical reasons.

After the loss of our much longed for baby, Altair, at 20 weeks, we were put in touch with the Tommy’s research centre in Manchester.
Professor Alex Heazell immediately gave us hope. Under his care and guidance, we welcomed our rainbow baby, Faris, safe and sound in December 2018.
