Thank you for making a Splash!

Throughout June and July hundreds of swimming pools and schools up and down the country held Splashathon events and so far we have had a great response from everybody who has helped to make the event a splashing success! Thank you to all the little ones who took part - for many Splashathon was their first ever sponsored event so we hope you had a great time splashing!

If you haven't yet sent in your sponsorship money please do so as soon as possible so that we can send prizes and certificates to all our super splashers! Don't forget our top splasher will win a fantastic £200 worth of Splash About swimwear. This will be awarded on 31st August 2010 so please do make sure you send your sponsorship in before then!

We'd also like to say a big thank you to all the pools and swim schools who put in a huge effort to organise their Splashathons.  This year Swimtime swim school helped us make an even bigger splash by holding events at their swim schools all over the UK. You can find out more about Swimtime at www.swimtime.org. The highest fundraising swim school will win a luxury three-night break to the beautiful equilibria.fr resort, courtesy of Splash About, and we'll be awarding a £50 voucher for a team night out to the top 20 pools. These prizes will also be awarded on 31st August 2010 so please ensure all funds are in by this date.

We were lucky enough to go out to Crook Log Leisure Centre in Bexleyheath and visit their Splashathon in June. Joan, the swimming teacher there, holds a Splashathon every year so it was great to finally see one in action. Terms and Conditions of the prizes: Three night break consists of a trip to Equilibria.fr, courtesy of Splash About, and includes transfer to and from Angouleme airport or railway station, room, all food and drink, a nutrional consultancy session, life coaching, a deep release and healing therapy and use of the facilities including massage chair and swimming pool. Travel to the resort will be organised by Tommy's and will be by train or plane, subject to availability and price, from London to Southwest France. The swim school who wins the prize will be the swim school franchise whose Splashathon participants have sent the most money to Tommy's by 1st September 2010. Tommy's cannot be held responsible for any delay in this money reaching us.
