Pay in your Tommy's LLHM Fundraising

The different methods for paying in your amazing LLHM fundraising.

Paying in your Fundraising

Thank you so much for all your hard work fundraising, this page details how you can get your valuable donations to the team at Tommy's. There are lots of different ways to pay in fundraising, and it is important to do what is best for you.

Please do not send cash in the post - keep the cash and send us the money using one of the ways below.

Online fundraising page - JustGiving

Online fundraising page - JustGiving

We encourage you to set up an online fundraising page, this means that donations come straight to us and you don't have to do anything except thank your supporters. If you haven't set up your online JustGiving page, you can do so here. If you have a fundraising page you may still receive 'offline' donations - cash or cheques from friends or relatives. To help us put your money to work immediately, we encourage you to send in these donations when you receive them. For further guidance on this, JustGiving has a handy webpage here.

Matched Giving

Matched Giving

In many larger companies, a matched giving scheme is in operation whereby the employer will match your fundraising income pound for pound. This is an easy way to double your income! Check whether your employer operates a matched giving scheme - either your HR or finance department should know.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a government scheme whereby some of the tax that donors pay is given back to us by Revenue and Customs when the donors give money to us. The amount we receive is currently 25p for every £1 donated, so we really really encourage UK taxpayers to tick the Gift Aid box on sponsor forms so we can get this money. Gift Aid is very important to us and usually brings in more than £200,000 in income each year - money that is vital for our research. Please ask supporters who work in the UK (and pay tax in the UK) to tick the ‘Gift Aid’ box on the form and fill in their full address details.
