Fundraising

Tommy's is recruiting for two graduate roles, the Trusts and Major Gifts Assistant and the Corporate Partnerships Assistant. Trusts and Major Gifts Assistant

You will be joining a team with exciting plans for growth, supporting the Trusts and Major Gifts team to reach annual income targets.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious person to get involved with different types of Major Donor fundraising opportunities and learn how to write Trust fundraising proposals and reports. We are looking for someone who is an excellent multi-tasker with a strong eye for detail, a flair for writing and the ability to manage multiple projects.

You’ll be joining a small, highly skilled and extremely supportive team, where everyone plays a part in ensuring that donors receive the best possible experience to achieve our aims. The team is looking to develop dynamic fundraisers, and you will become a fundraiser in your own right by managing a portfolio of Trusts and developing key relationships with important stakeholders

Corporate Partnerships Assistant

It’s an exciting time for the Partnerships team at Tommy’s! We are a key area of growth that will help the charity deliver our ambitious five year strategy. You will be joining the team at a pivotal point in Tommy’s’ journey.

We are looking for a proactive, driven individual who can support national partnerships that save babies’ lives. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious person to get involved with different types of Corporate fundraising activities and learn how to report back to partners on the impact of their donations. You will need to be a natural communicator, personable and understand how to give great customer service to ensure our partners receive the excellent experience that Tommy’s is known for.

You will provide effective support to the team to help deliver long-term, high value partnerships and support new business solicitations. The team is looking to develop dynamic fundraisers, and in addition to supporting the administration of the team and the daily account management of high-level partnerships, you will become a fundraiser in your own right by managing your own portfolio of partners.  

You’ll be joining a small, highly skilled and versatile team, where everyone plays a part in both account management and new business development together to achieve our aims.

Midwifery

Are you a midwife who would enjoy a different kind of work?

Tommy’s Bank Midwife, Flexible days

At Tommy’s we run a pregnancy information service, staffed and run by midwives, for women, their families and health professionals. Our midwives work in our central London office, providing pregnancy health information in response to telephone, email and social media queries. 

Hourly rate £16.91.
