Covid-19 Statement

At this difficult and uncertain time, we wanted to reassure participants that we are in close contact with the race organisers for any updates and changes regarding the Royal Parks Half Marathon. We have received the following statement from the race organisers:

"Due to the situation regarding the current Covid-19 pandemic and the associated, ongoing restrictions, we can confirm that the 2020 Royal Parks Half Marathon, presented by Royal Bank of Canada, will not be going ahead as planned on Sunday 11 October 2020.

We have explored a number of possibilities, including what a socially distanced event would entail. Based on the complexities surrounding social distancing at mass participation events, in addition to the potential impact on the NHS, we do not feel it would be appropriate to proceed with the event at this time. It is not a decision we have taken lightly, and we understand that this will be very disappointing, albeit not unexpected news.

However, we are excited to announce that a rescheduled date of Sunday 11 April 2021 is confirmed."

About the Royal Parks Half Marathon

What our runners say about us

"It was so nice meeting you and the awesome Tommy's cheerleaders yesterday. In fact I felt inspired by the awesome Team Tommy's and how good the cheering squads were and back at the marquee how good the atmosphere was there. The cheering squads were phenomenal and carried me to a PB of which I'm over the moon with. I'm inspired enough to be able to tell you that after running for "Team Daisy" yesterday (part of Carla Pilsworth's team). I will be raising more money for Tommy's and every event I do for Tommy's will be done in memory of Daisy. Thank you once again to you and the Tommy's team."
