We are delighted that Mothercare has launched a limited edition baby bodysuit as part of Jools Oliver’s Little Bird range in support of Tommy’s!
Hitting stores on the 16th February, Mothercare has partnered with Tommy’s to celebrate rainbow babies with The Little Bird Rainbow Baby Bodysuit .
Rainbow babies are born following a miscarriage or still birth, and this body suit is a testament to just how special these little ones are to their mums and dads.
“I’m so proud to be launching this gorgeous Little Bird, my Rainbow Baby Bodysuit. Tommy’s fund much needed research into pregnancy problems and provide important pregnancy health information to parents. It’s a wonderful organisation and I am so happy we are able to work together.” Jools Oliver
As many as 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage and more than 3,500 babies are born sleeping in the UK every year.
Many of these deaths remain unexplained, leaving parents feeling devastated and powerless to prevent it happening again.
Here at Tommy’s, we understand the impact this has on parents and families. That is why we fund the Rainbow Clinic in Manchester, to provide specialist care for women who are pregnant after loss and help them on their way to a healthy pregnancy.
One family welcomed their rainbow baby into the world following the tragic loss of their son, Alexander James who was stillborn at 36 weeks.
When Jennifer became pregnant again her doctor referred her to the Tommy’s Rainbow Clinic.
The exclusive Rainbow Baby Bodysuit is available online and instore, retailing at £8 each. A donation of £1 from the sale of each bodysuit will go to Tommy’s. Sizes range from new born to nine months.
