#misCOURAGE story, 24/02/2017, by anonymous

To you it's a product, a routine op.

To me, our baby whose heart beat stopped.

They tell me life's fragile, that I've plenty of time.

They hand me some paper I'm expected to sign.

They take some blood and talk of tests, discuss the procedure and mention rest.

All the while my heart is breaking, grieving for the life we were making.
