You were going to be my second baby,
Another we hadn't planned,
A happy surprise making our family complete,
But from the start it didn't feel right,
You were due Christmas Eve,
And would be the best present we would ever have,
But then everything went wrong,
I was told you weren't going to be,
My stomach felt empty and bare,
You were no longer there,
I cried so many tears,
Felt like all my dreams had been crushed,
You should've been my second baby,
But instead you were just a dream,
That never came true.
