After recovering from Bowel cancer my husband and I tried for many years to get pregnant but nothing, we eventually decided to go for IVF but couldn't get it free on the NHS due to my age, the procedure was traumatic and made me feel awful but after a LONG two week wait we were ecstatic to find that we were pregnant. However we later went for the 6 week scan to be told that there was no heartbeat and had to go home and wait for a bleed. I was heart broken, empty and shattered.

We did manage to keep pregnant on a second attempt but not without a lot of health issues and worries. Some people just don't know how lucky they are to have a normal healthy baby & stress free pregnancy.
