Our story begins 15 years ago, me and my husband thought it would be easy getting pregnant. Boy were we wrong! After trying for two years, we sought help. We were eventually given a drug called Clomid to try. However things wasn't to be. After years of fighting depression and desperation to be a mum I finally gave in.
Then came the dark cave I lived in for years and years
Something had to change as I was losing all will to live. I decided that God had made another path for us to follow, so I went to university to train to be a qualified nurse. The year I qualified, I found out I was pregnant. At 13 weeks (and the day before our first scan), we miscarried.
We were devastated, but in a way it was a new lease on life. I could get pregnant! NATURALLY. We tried again, but that wasn't to be, and a third time but that also wasn't to be either.
I decided to have a break from trying, however fell pregnant again. This time I was taken ill and a scan confirmed it was ectopic, after emergency surgery and a long road to recovery, I felt defeated. However 6 weeks later I was pregnant again.
Although we have had a few ups and downs we are now reaching our 28th week of pregnancy with our little boy! I look back at the past now and think maybe they just wasn't meant to be and this little one was sent by an Angel.
My Bradley. My boy my hero! I love you before I have even met you!
Me and my husband have been trying for a baby for 15 years. We were told we may never have children. Over the past two years I have had 4 miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy.
At a point of giving in and not wanting to go through all the heart ache of losing anymore babies, I became pregnant again. We now have a stunning little miracle boy Bradley Paul Wood.
Now he's another story but I'll save that one for him.
