May 2016

I was 13 weeks pregnant and attending my first scan. I was so excited to finally share the news with everyone and see my baby! I was told my baby had no heartbeat and was only the size of a 9 week old baby. I had lost my baby 4 weeks ago but had no symptoms; no signs, no pain, no bleeding. All the pregnancy symptoms where still there.

I still had morning sickness and my tummy was starting to show a small bump. I was told this is known as a missed miscarriage, I was devastated. I then had to stay in hospital so they could remove my baby, it felt so wrong. I felt like I was killing my baby, even though I knew it was already gone; it was still heartbreaking. I now have an angel baby.
