You can register for a guaranteed Tommy's place when you pledge to raise a minimum of £300 (excl. gift aid). We would be thrilled to welcome you to #TeamTommys!

Let us know if you already have your own place and would like to run for Tommy's! The Great North Run is the world's largest half marathon, taking place annually in September. Participants run between Newcastle upon Tyne and South Shields in the North East of England. The run was devised by former Olympic 10,000 m bronze medalist and BBC Sport commentator Brendan Foster.

Only the London Marathon comes close to attracting similar numbers of athletes each year.

Ts & Cs
If offered a place, I pledge to raise the minimum sponsorship, which I will pay to the charity within one month of the event. The objective is to raise as much sponsorship as possible. I understand that the place I am offered has been purchased for me at the charity’s expense with the intention of generating a fundraising profit for Tommy’s and that if I take the place, the charity is unable to offer it to anybody else. I will inform Tommy’s immediately if I am unable to take part in the event or unable to meet the fundraising pledge.
