About the event

Staff of the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust Rainbow Clinics, are hosting a fun run for all families to come together and raise money to support the amazing work of Tommy's Manchester stillbirth research centre. Please do join us!

When? Sunday 29 September. The race will begin at 11.30am. Feel free to bring a picnic for a communal lunch at the finish.

Where? The Lakeside Centre, Platt Fields Park, Manchester (what3 words: famed.assure.dull)

What? You can run, walk, hop or skip around the 1km course. It’s suitable for prams and wheelchairs. Cakes and Tommy’s rainbow T-shirts, babygrows and muslins for sale.

Tommy’s Manchester Research Centre

Your fundraising will enable the team to continue their work in:

  • Understanding the causes of stillbirth and developing treatments to prevent it
  • Finding ways to identify which pregnancies are at risk
  • Working with the NHS to improve antenatal care to help reduce stillbirth rates in the UK.

Their clinics offer specialist care to women at high risk of pregnancy loss. Translating research breakthroughs into clinical practice.
