Information for solicitors

Please read below for our suggested wording that you can share with your solicitor

Please note that you must follow a specific signing and witnessing process for your will to be valid, and making changes directly onto your existing Will can invalidate the whole document. We strongly recommend, therefore, that you consult your solicitor before you make any changes to your Will.

Once your Will is written and lodged you have the reassurance of knowing that all your affairs will be taken care of and your wishes will be carried out as you requested.

We have some suggested wording that you can share with your solicitor, below.

I GIVE the residue of my estate and the income thereof to Tommy’s (Registered Charity Number 1060508 ) of Nicholas House, 3 Laurence Pountney Hill, London, EC4R 0BB for its general purposes AND I DIRECT that the receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer of Tommy’s shall be a full and sufficient discharge.

I GIVE to Tommy’s (Registered Charity Number 1060508) of Nicholas House, 3 Laurence Pountney Hill, London, EC4R 0BB the sum of pounds (£ ) to be applied for its general purposes AND I DIRECT that the receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer of Tommy’s shall be a full and sufficient discharge.

I GIVE to Tommy's (Registered Charity Number 1060508) of Nicholas House, 3 Laurence Pountney Hill, London, EC4R 0BB (my ) to be applied for its general purposes AND I DIRECT that the receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer of Tommy's shall be a full and sufficient discharge.
