Our Dearest Baby Vent

I’m sorry that for whatever reason we can’t hold you, nurture you, watch you grow.

June 2016

Today was the day you were expected to be joining us in this big ol’ crazy world. Unfortunately, God had other plans for you and our family. I’m sorry. I’m sorry for whatever reason we can’t hold you, nurture you, watch you grow. I’m sorry for all that you have missed and will never get to experience. I’m sorry my body failed you, that I could not protect you.

I’m grateful to have known you, to have carried you for 10 weeks. I’m grateful that you will never experience pain, sorrow, disappointment. I’m grateful that God has given us another chance to prove we can be exceptional parents (26 weeks pregnant currently with a very healthy baby), I’m just sorry we couldn’t continue to be yours. Your life, though brief, will never be without meaning to us. For those 10 weeks and for the rest of our lives, you did and always will hold a very special place in our hearts.

Until we meet again.

Love Always,

Mommy & Daddy

P.S. Please watch over your younger brother/sister (Joining us this September... For life is hard, but not impossible.)
