Our midwife-moderated closed Facebook groups are a place for people affected by baby loss to share their experiences in a safe, online environment. For many, opening up and sharing experiences can be an important part of the grieving process after the loss of a baby.

If you've experienced baby loss or pregnancy complications you can share your story in Facebook groups - Tommy's Baby Loss Support Group and Tommy's Parenting After Loss Support Group, or on Instagram by tagging @tommys or @tommys_pregnancy hub.

“Reading so many women’s stories made me feel like more than a bad statistic. I felt normal; my babies’ stories are normal. I want them to be known. I hate hiding them away in my memory.”

Catherine, who has experienced 4 miscarriages

Stories for our website

Real-life stories help to break the silence that surrounds baby loss. At Tommy’s, we share a wide range of stories reflecting the experiences of families across the country. We also use stories to support our research publications, fundraising projects and charity campaigns.

On this page, we will share upcoming story opportunities.

Tommy’s runs specialist research clinics across the country supporting families after baby loss. Have you been treated at one of our clinics? Have you taken part in a Tommy’s research trial? If so, we’d love to hear from you. Please email [email protected] with a brief outline of your experience.

We’re currently looking for stories from dads and partners who have experienced baby loss or premature birth. The experience of partners can sometimes be overlooked and silenced. If you’re a partner or dad, and would like to share your story, please email [email protected] with a brief outline of your experience.
