What we do
We are the largest charity in the UK carrying out research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. With your support we are able to carry out more than £2million worth of ground-breaking research every year. Discover our projects.
We are here to support you through your whole pregnancy journey - from planning for pregnancy through to after the birth. Browse our free digital tools, calculators and resources to help you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
We are here for anyone who has experienced the loss of a baby, whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, or termination for medical reasons. Thank you to the parents who are helping to break the silence. Read their stories.
Introducing our new Strategy
We’re pleased to launch our new 10-year strategy. We believe it’s inclusive, it’s designed to be courageous, and it defines who we are as an organisation.
Our new strategy will guide every part of our work over the next decade. It will give us focus and make sure that even in challenging times our work can have the greatest possible impact.
Together, we can stop the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss and make pregnancy and birth safe – for everyone.

Ways to get involved
After the loss of our much longed for baby, Altair, at 20 weeks, we were put in touch with the Tommy’s research centre in Manchester.
Professor Alex Heazell immediately gave us hope. Under his care and guidance, we welcomed our rainbow baby, Faris, safe and sound in December 2018.
