£300 could pay for 40 high-risk women to take part in trial to identify whether having a cervical stitch can help to prevent their babies being born too small or too soon.
All grant applications are refereed by two experts in the relevant field. Tommy's will select two referees and ask them to review the grant application and complete the referees report form.
Tommy's Grants Administrator collates the referees responses and they are passed to the Medical Advisory Group who will discuss each application and score it against defined criteria.
The forms required to apply for a Tommy's grant are provided here (see link in pink box) in a downloadable format (as pdf files) which requires specific software to view the files. Click here for more information or to install Adobe Acrobat Reader free of charge.
Before accessing or completing the form, please read the pdf file of instructions (see link in pink box) which contains important information for using the forms.
