About The Baby Races
Organised in partnership with the pre and post-natal fitness experts, Buggyfit, these are a series of 8K events for you to power walk with your baby in their buggy. The routes all follow paths perfect for buggies in beautiful parks. There's an aerobic warm up to start, children's entertainment and a commemorative gift when you cross the finish line. You don't even need a baby or a buggy to take part, the whole family can join in, whether walking or running and older children can cycle or scoot.
Entry is £14.50 per adult and includes a free t-shirt. We ask that you try and raise £50 in sponsorship and once you register we'll direct you to set up an online fundraising page - making fundraising so much easier!
Every penny you raise will go towards Tommy's research and information programmes, which aim to prevent premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage.

There are lots of fabulous prizes on offer for top fundraisers including:
A term of swimming lessons from Water Babies - the UK's leading swim school. The Water Babies course is very different to traditional swimming lessons. They only use warm water pools so babies can join in from birth. And while the emphasis is on having fun, the course is carefully structured, with progressive lesson plans for each week.*
A Trunki, the much loved ride-on suitcase.
A scooter and balance bike from Great Little Trading Company.
A footmuff from Snug Science - its the only one in the market to feature PrimaLoft insulation which is hypoallergenic and used in luxury winter wear. The best feature of the Snug Science footmuff is the integrated arms that allows the baby to hold her bottle or toy while mummy or daddy run!
Three months supply of Water Wipes - 'the purest baby wipe in the world', offering all the benefits of cotton wool and cooled boiled water, as recommended by midwives worldwide, in a handy, keep-moist re-sealable packs.
Five Gold memberships to the Start Nursery worth £237 each - giving you access to hundreds of activities and resources specially designed for babies and under 5s.
The highest fundraiser from the Cambridge Baby Race will also win 10 Baby Sensory classes! The class enables you and your baby to experience different sensory activities designed to support your baby’s sensory development every week.
