£300 could pay for 40 high-risk women to take part in trial to identify whether having a cervical stitch can help to prevent their babies being born too small or too soon.

Kristy joined Tommy's in January 2006, making a fresh move into the charity sector.

Prior to that she worked for an agency covering Consumer and Trade press clients, ranging from independent film companies, fashion labels, household name brands, and new media and technology

She has also worked in-house for Knowsley Borough Council and for the Merseyside Police authority

Atia started working in PR after completing her M.A. in Public Relations, and since then has gained over 10 years PR & Comms work experience.

She has worked both in-house as a PR Manager and on the consultancy side, including working for Hill & Knowlton and McCann Erickson, on major consumer accounts.

She joined Tommy's in 2006, after taking a short break to look after her twin girls, who were born prematurely, and who are now 3.
