Dear supporters
Hello, and thanks for visiting my fundraising page! This June I am undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge (climbing the highest peaks in England, Scotland, and Wales in 24 hours) with some of my good friends in order to raise money for Tommy's in memory of my daughter, Charlotte. Charlotte was born at 39 weeks September 28, 2004. She was 5.4 oz, beautiful and perfect in every way. Sadly, Charlotte never had the chance to take her first breath because I suffered a total silent placental abruption a few days before which took her life away. As with so many stillbirths, the reasons behind my abruption are not known. I was young, healthy, had no problems during my pregnancy. Losing Charlotte was the worst thing I can ever imagine going through and if I can help save just one family from going through what our family has, I'll do everything in my power to. That is why I'm asking you to donate any amount of money you can to Tommy's. Tommy's is committed to finding the causes of, and ways to prevent, stillbirth, miscarriage and premature birth. Three years ago I completed the Olympic Distance London Triathlon for Tommy's and found the support of my family and friends amazing. I promise, as I did back then, I won't let you down on the day!!
Thanks,
Heather
Best of luck from the team - Tommy's
