Tommy's Splashathon is an annual event for babies, toddlers and young children. They are sponsored to have great fun splashing a length or width of their local swimming pool, simply splashing for a set time period or completing a special splash challenge

Splashathon activities take place at pools and swim schools around the country throughout May and June, giving everyone lots of time to join in the fun.

How to get involved

For Pools and Swim Schools

If you are a pool or swim school and would like to hold a Splashathon simply register as an organiser. Once you've registered, we'll provide you with stickers, sponsor forms, posters and an organiser's pack to ensure your event goes with a splash! 

Your Splash pack will then be sent to you. 

For Individuals 

To check if your local pool or swim school is already registered for Splashathon, please click here to download our list of this year's participating venues.

If your local pool isn't listed how about organising your own Splashathon? In the paddling pool, at the seaside, under the garden sprinkler, or even in the bath!

The highest fundraising pool or swim school will again this year win a £1,000 voucher towards pool equipment. Plus the highest earning Splashathon organiser will win a fun-packed, mid-week break for a family of four at any of the Butlins seaside resorts, Minehead, Bognor Regis or Skegness!*

Thanking our splashers

We believe that every splasher should be thanked for taking part in Splashathon and raising money for a good cause - perhaps for the first time! We send every splasher a personal certificate showing their achievement and if you raise £40 or more, your little splasher receives a memorable gift too!

Last year alone First Choice taught 7,000 kids to swim at a variety of its Kids Club properties around the world via its Swim Kids programme. All Swim Kids instructors are qualified lifeguards and ASA, or equivalent, qualified swimming teachers. With 1 instructor to every 6 participants, maximum, lessons are fully supervised and each swimmer receives personal attention.
