Hi Folks

I am running the Baildon Boundary Way Half Marathon on Sunday 28th March 2010 in aid of Tommys.

My reason for chosing to run for this charity is simple: During October and November 2009 my partner, Debbie, suffered a miscarriage. It was without doubt the most difficult time of our lives, the not knowing what is happening, the lack of information given to us by our local NHS Trust (which in turn meant the miscarriage lasted for 6-7 weeks) and also the strain in puts on your 'normal' life.

I could not wish this on anyone. As a result, I felt it was only right that I 'did my bit' and help to raise money for Tommys, so Debbie and I would be very grateful if you can help us do this, any amount large or small will be of a great help. I've set myself a target of reaching at least £100.00.

It would make my 6.15am - 11 mile training runs to work on a freezing Saturday morning feel worth while, a make to muddy, hilly and difficult half marathon feel that bit easier.
