Edinburgh University has been selected as the home of the new Tommy’s research centre.
Set to open around April 2008, the Edinburgh Research Centre of Excellence for Maternal and Fetal Health During Pregnancy will focus on discovering ways to reduce the risk that obesity poses to pregnant women and their babies. Edinburgh's research will supplement the work of the existing Tommy's centres in London and Edinburgh - and help us save more babies' lives.
