Running for Tommy's with a guaranteed place
Some races, such as the London marathon, are in great demand and are difficult to get into. However these races usually sell a certain amount of places to charities, such as ourselves, and we then pass these on to supporters who will raise enough money through sponsorship and fundraising to pay for the place and bring in the extra money that we need for our work.
If you're considering applying for one of these it's crucial that you are confident of reaching the minimum target of sponsorship or you will put Tommy's at risk of losing money. However, once you've decided that you can raise the money we will be behind you very step of the way. We support all Tommy's runners with a free running vest, training guides, fundraising ideas, lots of different fundraising materials (t-shirts, balloons and posters) and loads of enthusiasm to help you on your way!
