Create or edit an online fundraising page and help support Tommy's work

A personal online fundraising page is a simple way of raising money, either for a fundraising event such as a marathon, for a personal occasion such as a wedding or christening, or in memory of a lost loved one.

On the Tommy's website we offer two types of fundraising pages: event fundraising pages and in-memory pages.

Event fundraising pages
In-memory pages

Create an event fundraising page

If you already have a fundraising page, click here to edit it.

Our fundraising pages are designed for those supporters looking to raise money for a specific event. The events can differ immensely, such as:

  1. a marathon or other running event
  2. a wedding (asking for donations instead of gifts)
  3. a christening (as above)
  4. Splashathon - our sponsored swimming event
  5. an event, such as a coffee morning

On a fundraising page you are offered the following features:

  1. space for your own images and to talk about your event
  2. your own friendly url (such as www.tommys.org/johnsmith).
  3. space to put a fundraising target and a thermometer showing how you're doing!
  4. a donation table, showing who has donated, how much with space for donor messages
  5. the option to be emailed each time a donation is made
  6. the abililty to create a personal 'Thank you' email, which will be sent to all donors along with our Tommy's thank you email.

Create an in-memory page

If you already have an in-memory page, click here to edit.

Our in-memory pages are designed to appeal on behalf of a lost loved one. These are most often created by parents, or friends of parents, who have sadly lost a child, in the hope of raising funds to help us minimise the number of small babies lost each year.

These pages have been designed to act as tributes to a lost loved one, and so do not include many of the fundraising elements such as a donations total or list of donations made.  If you would like to keep track of donations made, it would be advisable to create your page using the 'Fundraising page' template mentioned above.

On an in-memory page you are offered the following features:

  1. space for your own image (if relevant) and introductory content
  2. your own friendly url (such as www.tommys.org/johnsmith).
  3. a messages table, where donors can leave words of support
  4. the abililty to create a personal thank-you email, which will be sent to all donors along with our Tommy's thank-you email.
