Recycle your old printer cartridges and mobile phones for Tommy's!
So far £540,000 has been raised for Tommy's from recycling - you can help us increase this and fund more vital research.
You can recycle old inkjet print cartridges, laser print cartridges and old mobile phones... and it costs you nothing.
Follow the three easy steps below and you will help Tommy's ensure every baby has the best chance of being born healthy. You will also be helping the environment and for every cartridge you return you will be entered into a weekly prize draw.
How to recycle1) Check Check online if your cartridges or mobile phones are recyclable or call freephone on 0800 435576.
This first step is very important, as not all cartridges and mobile phones are recyclable. Posting those that are not costs money which would otherwise come to Tommy's.
2) Register If you already have recycling bags, register the unique bag reference number before posting. You will need to log in to your account or sign up.
This is to ensure that your donation comes to Tommy's, and that you are entered into a free prize draw! Click here if you require more recycling bags. Again you will need to log in to your account or sign up.
3) Bag & Post Pop your recyclable inkjet cartridges and mobile phones into the FREEPOST recycling bag and put it in the post.
And then... feel great for not only helping our charity but also doing your bit for the environment! Why not also encourage friends and colleagues by printing out and placing this recycling poster on notice boards at work or in staff kitchens? Click here to download your poster.
Recycle your foreign coinsHave you been on holiday recently and got some foreign coins or notes left over? Now you can recycle them to benefit Tommy’s! We’ve teamed up with Coin Co International plc (www.coincoplc.co.uk) to provide a coin recycling service for all our supporters. All you need to do is:
1) Collect your spare foreign currency together.
2) Email Joanne at Coin Co on joannebaker@coincoplc.com or call Coin Co on 01444 253777 and explain to them that you’ve collected some foreign currency and would like it to benefit Tommy’s, the baby charity.
3) They should then instruct you as to how the currency will be collected. If you manage to collect four coffee mugs' full or more then Coin Co will send someone out to you, otherwise they’ll send you a jiffy bag to put it in – again make sure you label this so that it’s clear you’d like the money to benefit us.
4) Then sit back safe in the knowledge that you’ve helped raise money for vital research into pregnancy complications.
